You have to see this. This may or may not be the wife of someone named Randall Goodgame. Hilarious.

Um, wait, don’t i recall that ‘Dawn Marie’ is from Alabama?? I’m stupefied. I think my favorite part is when she says “Daaaang.” This is really surprising and funny as nuts.

“What I’m telling you is it’s very fun for the whole family. I don’t read a word of it, I make my husband do it while I’m cleaning the kitchen.”
Priceless.

I loved the book. I am reading it to my boys now, and they are enjoying it. AP mentioned he always imagined it being read by a British accent, but I kind of like Dawn Marie’s take. Can’t wait for the Slightly Less Brief Introduction tomorrow.
BTW, great choice of names to start a race.

“Toothy Cow People… downright frightening… don’t even like to look at ’em myself… fun for the whole family.” Love it.

@My vote is for Dawn Marie to read the audio version of the remaining books in the series. I’d buy two.

HA!
Fran Drescher, watch out!

Wow… so Fran Drescher after a year in Latin America and a month in the South…?
Truly disturbing, in a funny way.
Pete Peterson
That is stinkin’ hilarious. Make her read the whole thing, Randy!
James Glass
It doesn’t get any better then that. Jim Dale has his work cut out for him.

I’m with Jason. Ditch the Brit and go with Dawn Marie. She should at least be in the film version.

“Epoch… I don’t know what that word is.”
Best book recommendation ever. As one of the contributors would say, “Funny as chickens.” 🙂

Hilarious! Get her to do the audiobook for the sequels.
