Home Movies from Everything Sad Is Coming Untrue

I made some home movies about the making of the new record and had them posted on my site. Andrew spotted them and suggested I do a post about it here, and so I have! In 3 parts. Rabbit Room readers may enjoy the AP references in Part 3.

I tried to keep the movies mostly fun, but you do get to see some of the writing process with Randall Goodgame, and the footage with Gabe Scott is my favorite part. Hope you like it – thanks for watching.

  1. Tony Heringer

Hey if it doesn’t work out you can always play backup for Andrew Peterson. I hear that dude is good.

Congrats again on the album. The music has fueled several miles of jogging out our local greenway — today at lunch in fact. It was the perfect mid-day treat to go along with my huffing and puffing.

  2. Matthew Robbins

Thanks so much for sharing these. It’s so cool to get to see the process that’s behind these albums where we only get to hear the final product. Your hard work has definitely paid off. The album is amazing. It’s helped me tremendously, and it’s just great music.

  3. Terry Kreutzkamp

Wonderful stuff here Jason! But I’ve gotta ask – can you please get out of my head?!
I’m waking up in the middle of the night with your songs running through my mind, and then not being able to get back to sleep. “Infectious” is maybe a bit of an understatement.

  4. Sharon Frazier

Jason ~ I’ve been listening to Everything Sad Is Coming Untrue, and your songs speak to me deeply. What a treasure! I enjoyed the videos. Thanks for sharing them. And thanks for persevering in your songwriting. I’m so glad I get introduced to so many wonderful musicians here at the RR.
