Counting Stars Video, Part the First

By

Hey, folks. With the release date for Counting Stars just six weeks (or so) away, the promotional machine has ignited and is rolling down the Please-Buy-My-Record Highway. Here’s the first of a few (I think) videos we’ll be happily bombarding you with, starring the gregarious Andy Gullahorn, the hilarious Ben Shive, and the nefarious me. By all means, send the link for this video to everyone you know.

Andrew Peterson is a singer-songwriter and author. Andrew has released more than ten records over the past twenty years, earning him a reputation for songs that connect with his listeners in ways equally powerful, poetic, and intimate. As an author, Andrew’s books include the four volumes of the award-winning Wingfeather Saga, released in collectible hardcover editions through Random House in 2020, and his creative memoir, Adorning the Dark, released in 2019 through B&H Publishing.

Just out of curiosity, what makes you think you need to roll out a “promotional machine” on the “Please-Buy-My-Record Highway” here in the Rabbit Room? We’re all going to order at least one…

    Andrew, Thank you.
“The Reckoning” has been bouncing off the cement brick Max Sec prison walls. (I still am amazed they let me take a CD player in there.) We hear it, we feel it – the song stirs a sigh of recognition in many hearts.

And thanks for the explanation of “Counting Stars.” It’s a good one.

Love the new song, Andrew, especially the drums – wow!
Watching this video the MST3000 side of me kicked in and I do not know why.
If I didn’t know who you all were and where the three of you come from, I would expect to hear phrases like, “Eh, hoser, crack open a Molson will yah?” and “Shutup, eh, the Hockey game is on”

I love how real you guys are in your walk with the Lord. Don’t ever pull any punches. It is what keeps bringing me back here.

Just thinking that it reminds me of rounding Cape Horn in the storm, knowing God is holding all the universe together in the palms of His hand.

I have a feeling that The Reckoning will be my favorite song on the album. I am super pumped! Can’t wait!
