Rabbit Room LIVE Special Guest: Fernando Ortega

By

Rabbit Room LIVE is coming up in just over a week! This year’s fundraising extravaganza features a litany of our favorite artists and last week we announced one of our special guests: Sho Baraka. This week we’re pleased to announce a second special guest, one that is no stranger to most of you: Fernando Ortega.

Fernando’s music has been a soundtrack for the lives of a lot of people here in the Rabbit Room. His records are what I often think of as “Sunday morning music,” and much like Audrey Assad, he’s got a gift for writing songs that lull me into a place of contemplation and worship. He’s just released his 20th (!) album called The Crucifixion of Jesus and we’re enormously excited that he’ll be joining us for this special event.

Get your tickets here, and if you can’t make it to Nashville, don’t miss the livestream!

The Rabbit Room is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization and Rabbit Room LIVE is a fundraising event. Please consider making a tax deductible gift at donate.RabbitRoom.com.

Pete Peterson is the author of the Revolutionary War adventure The Fiddler’s Gun and its sequel Fiddler’s Green. Among the many strange things he’s been in life are the following: U.S Marine air traffic controller, television editor, art teacher and boatwright at the Florida Sheriffs Boys Ranch, and progenitor of the mysterious Budge-Nuzzard. He lives in Nashville with his wife, Jennifer, where he's the Executive Director of the Rabbit Room and Managing Editor of Rabbit Room Press.
