Welcome to the Rabbit Room Board!

By

Five years ago, the Rabbit Room restructured as a 501(c)3 non-profit and one of the great benefits of that decision was the formation of the Board of Directors, a group of people that generously donate their time and energy to come alongside us and help guide the organization.

These folks have been a huge blessing over the years, and Kenny Woodhull has led the charge as our Chairman of the Board. He brought with him a wealth of experience and wisdom, and I don’t think it’s a stretch to say that the Rabbit Room wouldn’t be what it is without his leadership.

This past December, Kenny stepped down as the Lord called him to serve others and pursue other opportunities. We wish him all the best and look forward to seeing him back at North Wind Manor in the years to come, not to balance a budget, but simply to hang out and enjoy the company. Thank you, Kenny. We’re grateful.

But as Kenny moves on, we’re delighted to announce that two others are stepping into the ranks to help guide the Rabbit Room in its mission. Over the years, we’ve developed close relationships with both of these new members and we couldn’t be more excited to welcome them to the Rabbit Room’s Board of Directors.

Drumroll please:

Santosh John joins us from Atlanta where he’s spent the past few years planting house churches and developing his vision for a non-profit organization that aims to help 3rd-cultural people find their voices, tell their stories, sing their songs, and build for the Kingdom. He and his family have been invaluable friends over the years and have been a frequent sounding-board and source of wisdom in our lives. It’s with great pleasure that we welcome him to the Rabbit Room board with his wealth of experience and his passion and love for the Kingdom. Buddy Greene has been making music in Nashville (and around the world) for more than 30 years, and many of you will know him for, if nothing else, his mad harmonica skills at the Behold the Lamb of God shows at the Ryman. But more than a mere musician, Buddy is also a lover of the Gospel, a passionate student of Scripture, and a man with a heart for people and especially for cross-cultural bridge-building. His amiable wisdom and ready laugh have been a gift to many of us over the years, and it’s with great thanks that we welcome him into the work of the Rabbit Room. We’re genuinely overwhelmed by the blessing of these three men and the generous devotion of their time. It’s with great anticipation that we look forward to working with Santosh and Buddy in the years ahead.

So welcome to the crew. We’re glad you’re here.

Among the many strange things he’s been in life are the following: U.S Marine air traffic controller, television editor, art teacher and boatwright at the Florida Sheriffs Boys Ranch, and progenitor of the mysterious Budge-Nuzzard. He lives in Nashville with his wife, Jennifer, where he's the Executive Director of the Rabbit Room and Managing Editor of Rabbit Room Press.
