I can understand the first time you hear that line “even Hell is not a God-forsaken place” can be shocking. As I think about though, it really isn’t if you see it as God affirming what the souls who end up there want, which is no part of Him and His remedy for their sin. For them, as Hank Hanegraff says, heaven would be hell.
