Open Hours at North Wind Manor
North Wind Manor is the Rabbit Room’s local expression of hospitality which exists to nurture artists, nourish communities, and welcome neighbors around story, music, and art. We love opening the Manor to guests for Local Shows, film nights, and lectures, but we also want to extend a more personal invitation that goes beyond programmed events. So every Wednesday afternoon, from 1:00—4:00pm CST, we’re hosting Open Hours: Fika (Swedish for “coffee break”) at North Wind Manor. During this time window, you’re invited to stop by, have a mug of coffee or tea, and visit for a while. In addition, every Friday morning, from 9:00am—12:00pm CST, we’re hosting Quiet Hours: Stilla (Swedish for quiet and peaceful). The idea for these quiet hours is to provide a calmer space for deeper focus. During this time window, you’re invited to bring your laptop to work remotely, work on a creative project, bring a book, or borrow one of ours. We’ll provide the coffee.

Before planning your visit, please consult RabbitRoom.com/events to double-check that we’re hosting open hours on your Wednesday of choice. While our aim is to host open hours on a weekly basis, exceptions do sometimes arise.

North Wind Manor is situated in a residential community. Help us be good neighbors by becoming familiar with our property lines and staying within those boundaries during your visit. North Wind Manor will be on your left as you drive up Stephens Hill Lane.
Feel free to park in the gravel parking area or in the adjacent field in front of the barn. All land to the right of Stephens Hill Lane is private property that does not belong to the Rabbit Room. Please do not park on or cross Stephens Hill Lane or venture past North Wind Manor up the hill.
If you’d like to spend time outdoors, you are welcome to enjoy North Wind Manor’s wrap around porch and backyard. If you’re looking for a place to walk, the Mill Creek Greenway is a wonderful public option within easy walking distance of North Wind Manor.
