Laity Lodge, nestled in a bend of the Frio River in the Texas wilderness, is one of our favorite places in the world, and we’ve missed it. The Lodge closed down for renovations a couple of years ago and we’ve been anxious to get back on the schedule. Today we’re happy to announce that the 2018 Rabbit Room Retreat will take place on March 8-11th, and registration is now open. Click here to claim your spot.
Most people are familiar with Hutchmoot, but the Retreat @ Laity Lodge is an entirely different experience. Limited to about 70 guests, this is a retreat in the truest sense of the word. It’s a quiet oasis surrounded by natural beauty. The schedule is sparse so you’ll have plenty of time to relax, hike the grounds, peruse the library, read by the fire, enjoy the art studio, and get to know your fellow retreaters.
This year we’re thrilled to announce that pastor and author (and Rabbit Room veteran) Russ Ramsey will be anchoring the retreat. He’ll be leading us on an exploration of the need to pursue beauty, the perils of trying to pursue it alone, and the possibilities of pursuing it in community.
He’ll be joined by musical guest Andrew Peterson and maybe a few other special guests and Rabbit Room alums.
It’s going to be a great weekend, and we can’t wait to see the newly renovated facilities at the Lodge. Registration is now open, and it includes all meals and lodging. Claim your spot while you can.
